Angela Izquierdo is a dedicated real estate professional with a strong background in property management and investment sales. Since joining SVN in 2022, Angela has leveraged her experience to assist in the management of office, retail, multifamily, and industrial properties. She has also successfully facilitated the sale of over 100 multifamily units. 

 Angela earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico and is actively pursuing her master's degree as a graduate student. While advancing her education, she continues to grow her career in commercial real estate. Angela has a deep interest in human behavior, communication, and how the brain work. These insights enhance her ability to effectively navigate complex client needs.

Beyond real estate, Angela is passionate about giving back to the community. She has dedicated six years to mentoring through the Big Brothers Big Sisters 2.0 program. She is also avid about travel; she has explored eight countries across Central America and Europe and visited more than 20 U.S. states, as she works toward her goal of seeing all 50.

Janet Horton joined SVN/Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. in 2021. She brings over fifteen years of invaluable property management expertise. She leads a dedicated team of Property Managers, Maintenance Technicians, and Contractors all committed to upholding the highest standards of efficiency, transparency, professionalism, and Landlord/Tenant satisfaction.

Janet is passionately pursuing her goal of obtaining the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, further solidifying her commitment to excellence in the field.

Janet is the current Chair of Industry Partners for Institute of Real Estate Management New Mexico Chapter (IREM NM).

Katrina Flores joins SVN/Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. in 2020. She was born in San Bernadino CA in 1972 and became a resident of Albuquerque NM in 1974. Her skill set and experience lies in leadership, management, coordination, sales, negotiation and problem solving. She always has a positive attitude, treats every contract with the utmost discretion and confidentiality and maintains integrity while working on any project. Katrina has always been a get it done type of person no matter how big or how small the project. Katrina owned the first all-male hair salon in Albuquerque NM, offering manicures, pedicures, gentleman cuts, colors and more. As a young single mother raised by an only father and 5 older brothers, she decided to pursue a career in a field that was familiar and in high demand. She owned, operated and managed Maximus Professional Care for Men from 2000 to 2010. After selling the salon, she went to work for a real estate attorney who specialized in business law, personal injury, probate and entertainment law. She quickly developed a comprehensive knowledge of real estate practices and procured her real estate license in 2015. While running her business and raising her children, Katrina also found time to give back to the community. She fostered children in her home and still gives her time to The Heart Gallery of NM Foundation. Here she works with aged out foster children via sponsorship for programs that teach life skills, college assistance and education and workforce training. Katrina congruently worked in NMs budding film industry as a Set Decorator for several Lifetime Television Productions and reality shows such as "The Biggest Loser." Katrina's hobbies include acting, modeling and singing. She has danced professionally with Baila Baila Dance Academy for 30 years, honoring a traditional New Mexican style dance, Ballet Folklorico. There is nothing this woman can't do!

Kelly Schmidt, SIOR, is a  Commercial Real Estate Advisor with ten years of dedicated experience at SVN/Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. Since 2015, Kelly has been a pivotal member of the SVN Office Team, specializing in office and industrial leasing and sales. Known for her unwavering ethics, integrity, and tireless work ethic, Kelly is widely regarded as one of New Mexico's top-producing commercial real estate professionals.

A proud holder of the SIOR designation, Kelly has earned recognition as a leader in the industry, demonstrating expertise in both market strategy and client relationships. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Belmont Abbey College, where academic and athletic scholarships acknowledged her exceptional talents. As a four-year starter and two-time all-conference player on the women’s soccer team, Kelly cultivated teamwork and perseverance—qualities that have seamlessly transitioned into her professional endeavors.

In high school, Kelly excelled in academics, music, and sports, earning accolades as a first-chair violinist and first-team All-State soccer player. Beyond her professional success, Kelly is passionate about family, cherishing time with her beloved nieces and pups, and enjoys cycling, hiking, and traveling. These pursuits reflect her love for adventure and a balanced approach to life.

Larry Ilfeld is a Senior Advisor with SVN | Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc. in Albuquerque, specializing in the sale of land and commercial properties throughout New Mexico. He has over 40 years commercial real estate experience and has completed transactions totaling many millions of dollars. He has strong experience in real estate-related Court work, having represented property owners in Ch. 11 bankruptcy and partitioning sales. Prior to joining SVN, Ilfeld owned his own commercial real estate company, Ilfeld & Co LLC. He previously worked for Stebbins Commercial Properties in Manchester, New Hampshire. One of his many notable land transactions was the sale of a $13 million, 141 acre, mixed-use land site in Cabezon Communities, Rio Rancho. The property had to be fully entitled and master planned through a partnership with a leading area developer. Part of this property is now the site of the Rust Medical Center. Ilfeld is member of the National Association of REALTORS, the Commercial Association of REALTORS of New Mexico (CARNM), the REALTORS Land Institute (RLI) and holds the CCIM designation from the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute and the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation from the REALTORS Land Institute. He received a Bachelor degree in Political Science from Boston University.

Pauls career in the real estate business spans over 35 years, and has included land sales, residential and investment property development, leasing , purchasing and sale representation for Office & Industrial properties throughout New Mexico, as well as large ranch, recreational property sales and resource management.  Over the years, Paul has developed a comprehensive knowledge for business and site analysis, property acquisition, exit strategies, financing, and a keen sense of navigating through what matters pertaining to completing transactions in a challenging market. Paul has spent a lifetime fly fishing, and having spent a good deal of his youth working in the ranching business, has a great appreciation for honesty and hard work.

Tim R. Luten has over Fortyeight years of experience in investment real estate. A native of Albuquerque, Tim has a strong knowledge of Albuquerque and its apartment market. Tim provides his clients with the utmost in quality service and sincere representation. He professionally assists his clients in the successful analysis, purchase and disposition of investment properties. Tim's knowledge of the market is unsurpassed and he succeeds in keeping current with the most up-to-date marketing and investment strategies.

Walt Arnold, CCIM, SIOR, serves as a senior advisor for SVN in Albuquerque. Arnold specializes in the sale of office and industrial buildings. Prior to joining SVN, Arnold served as president of Walt Arnold Commercial Brokerage, Inc., which he started in 1990. Previously, Arnold also worked for Hooten/Stahl Commercial, a local commercial brokerage firm. Additionally, Arnold spent eight years in the National Football League playing for the Los Angeles Rams, Houston Oilers and the Kansas City Chiefs. As an active commercial real estate community member, Arnold is a member and past president of the New Mexico Certified Commercial Investment Member, a member of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS, and member and past president of the Commercial Association of Realtors of New Mexico (CARNM). In 1998, Arnold was named "Realtor of the Year" by CARNM. Additionally, Arnold was named to the University of New Mexico Football 100-Year All-Time Team and was inducted in the University of New Mexico's Hall of Honor. Arnold earned a bachelor of university studies degree from the University of New Mexico.
