He previously had 25 years in the restaurant & liquor business, and now over 15 years of restaurant and retail brokerage. Jeremy Douglas Nelson

Lia Armstrong

Lia Armstrong is a retail broker with King Capital Commercial Real Estate doing both retail leasing and sales. Lia brings over 17 years of impressive experience in commercial real estate to the team. Lia has an exceptional background in commercial real estate, development and management. Her primary focus is providing her clients with the highest level of service and support to help them exceed their real estate goals. Lia has extensive experience in leasing, landlord representation, tenant representation, investment acquisition and disposition and site development. Lia has a unique skill set that allows her to draw on multiple resources-industry databases; network affiliations; and local and state economic incentives-to identify appropriate locations and site availability for retail businesses.

Nicole Rhodes

Education In 2001, Nicole received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Robert O. Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico. Nicole has taken several course towards the highly regarded Certified Property Manager certification with the Institute of Real Estate Management. Experience Nicole joined Base 5 Retail Partners in 2018 as an investment specialist with a focus on retail and multifamily properties. She is a dynamic broker offering her clients superior representation through experience. Nicole started her path in real estate years ago with property management. She made the transition into brokerage in 2014 and has been completing successful transactions ever since. She has represented US Bank, Great Clips, WingStop, Metro PCS, Westwood Financial, among others. Given Nicole's background in Property Management, she is able to counsel her clients on a higher level regarding how properties operate and what certain deal points to looks out for as a Tenant or Landlord. When Nicole is not in the office you will find her sharpening her negotiation skills with her two daughters (very, very tough negotiators). Nicole is highly known for her comprehensive approach to problem solving and is highly regarded for her delivery of remarkable service. Throughout Nicoles Property Management career, she has successfully managed over 120 properties, including owner associations, residential, office and retail properties throughout the New Mexico market. She is highly familiar with managing properties in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Las Cruces and Roswell. Nicole has successfully managed more than one million square feet of commercial real estate and represented more than 200 individual clients. As a proactive Property Manager, she oversaw all phases of property management including accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and maintenance oversight, and tenant retention. Since 2003, Nicole has served on the local Chi Omega Fraternity House Corporation Board of Directors oversees the operations of the local chapter house. Working cohesively with other board members, she has worked to develop and implement programs, while analyzing and interpreting the needs of the members. Through implementing these programs, the Board of Directors has accomplished its goals and provided advisement of appropriate solutions. Nicoles dedication to the completion of numerous major building improvement projects earned her the 2010 Chi Omega Alumnae Service Award. Investments Nicole purchased her first apartment complex in 2016 and enjoys the investment benefits of what multifamily properties have to offer.
