Jim Hakeem has 14 years experience in the Albuquerque commercial real estate market. He joined NAI Maestas & Ward in 2004. Prior to launching his real estate career, Hakeem owned a food manufacturing company for 20 years. He holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University. He also attended the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a Management Certification. Hakeem possesses an extensive band of knowledge and personal experience in the sales and leasing of industrial and investment properties. Jim has represented local and national developers in the assemblage and purchase of large tracts of land for multifamily, office and industrial development. Most recently, Jim completed a $12,000,000 sale of industrial property which is considered one of the largest transactions in 2010 in Albuquerque. Hakeem's professional knowledge and ability to identify the needs of his clients have allowed him to achieve the recognition of several awards.
