Roderick L. Smith, Qualifying Broker of West Wood Realty, has been in the commercial and industrial real estate business for 25 years. Rod specializes in land sales, office, office/warehouse and retail sales and leasing, along with investment opportunities in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque's west side. Prior to joining West Wood Realty, Rod was with Dowsett Commercial, Ltd., and Cooper Commercial, Ltd., both in Michigan. Rod's present activities at West Wood include marketing high-image office complexes, office/warehouse properties, commercial and industrial vacant land, and income properties. Current and past clients include Rachel Matthew Development, Latitudes, Don Chalmers, Katrina Ltd., Bradbury Stamm, The Jaynes Corp., Titan Development, Rio West Business Park, Sandia View Business Center, IHOP, U.S. Olympic Training, Wrangler Development, AMREP Southwest, Crash Champions and a variety of medical and dental users. Rod holds a PhD from Purdue University and has been a Six Sigma Process Improvement consultant, with clients such as the Zep Corporation, Wells Fargo, Park Nicolette Medical Systems, and Household International. Rod has also edited two best-selling books on Six Sigma team dynamics.
