Tai Bixby, SIOR, CCIM, has worked in real estate in Santa Fe and Albuquerque since 2004. He brings a diverse background of business experience to his commercial real estate practice, including brokerage of office, retail, industrial, land, development and real estate investment management. He has brokered commercial transactions, mutifamily, land, office, retail, shopping centers, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, tenant-in-common syndications, private equity investment and commercial leases for both landlords and tenants. Tai also owns and trades investment real estate on his own account. His endeavors prior to real estate include 4 years as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, 2 years CAD landscape drafting and terrain modeling, 8 years as an industrial designer for a Santa Fe business that transforms recycled glass into a variety of foamed glass products. Tai's functional capabilities include real estate sales & marketing, development feasibility analysis, proforma financial modeling, investment analysis and cash flow modeling based on the CCIM toolset, project management, market research, corporate intelligence, graphic design, CAD drafting and graphic design. He is fluent in Portuguese, speaks basic Spanish and maintains a network of professional relationships in Canada and Latin America. Tai has been a member of the National/State/Local Association of Realtors since 2004 and is also a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) Institute for Commercial Real Estate. In his free time he enjoys being a father, sailing, traveling to Latin America, mountain biking, snowboarding and aviation.
